Breakthrough bleeding while on pill?

I've been on the same birth control pill for two years and I have noticed the last three months I've been spotting the first week after my period. It's varied on which day but it's always in the first week after my period. This month it was more than the last three months.

I always worry it's pregnancy, but maybe it's just time to switch to a new pill.

Does this happen to anyone else ?

Yeah that happened to me when I was on my previous birth control pill. I had been on it for a few years and I started getting spotting between periods frequently. I switched to a new birth control though and it went away. I had a bit of spotting for the first 2-3 months of the new pill though while my body got adjusted which I'm pretty sure is normal. After 3 months if you still have spotting then I'd talk to your doctor.

A similar thing is happening to me, except mine is a week before my period. Only just happening this month and I've been on this pill for nearly 3 years. I'm not sure what it is either..

Mine did the same thing this month. I started spotting a little over a week before my period is due
