Pure Evil

"When my grandmother was in her 20s she moved to a small farm with her husband. Once there, the first weird thing they both noticed a large circle in the feild behind the house. As if something huge had been laying there, but they blew it off. Maybe some big equipment had sat there before and the grass had been squished, right?

One night they were at the kitchen table with another couple playing cards, we'll call them Lily and John. Well there was a window next to this table and Lily asks my grandmother if she can see that. Everyone looks out the window and there's two golden orbs moving around on the other side of the front yard fence. It became apparent they were eyes and my grandma said she could kinda of make out a rounded face with pointy ears. This thing had to be 8 feet tall to see over their privacy fence! They thing is just staring into the window and then it's jaw drops to let out a scream that sounded like a woman in complete agony.

Everyone got scared and their friends helped them put the fridge in front of the only door. This thing spent all night slamming into that door just screaming, howling and growling. My grandma said it was the most ungodly thing she'd ever heard. "Pure evil" she said, shaking just recalling it for me.

For 3 days moving the fridge worked but then it was clearly time for a upgrade because the door was clearly damaged and might fall in. They came home that evening from town with the same friends to find the front door open. John and Mark, my grandmothers late husband, went inside to check it out. The fridge was pushed back into the livingroom, the couches were flipped, and there was claw marks on the walls. That night they put huge nails in the door and scooted the fridge back into place in front of it. The thing came back again, screaming, and it was even less happy this time. It was slamming into the door and it shook the small house.

The next morning they looked into the feild and saw something huge in the dim light. It stood on its hind legs and definitely looked like it indeed was 8 feet tall. It seemed humanoid but wolf like with black fur. Seeing it was the last straw, everyone frantically but quietly moved the firdge and ran for their trucks. Grandma sent movers to get their stuff for them which was hard because they didn't have much money. The movers called her from the nearest neighbors and said they place looked sacked and there was blood on the walls in some places. They wouldn't go back into the house so my grandmother lost a lot of stuff, but she lived and now I'm here telling you to be careful around rural Missouri."
