Whatever method of birth control that you can take consistently as directed. You're birth control options are the pill (daily), patch (weekly), nuvaring (monthly), shot (every 12 weeks), implant (4 years), hormonal iud (up to 3-7 years) and nonhormonal iud (up to 12 year). I'd recommend being honest with yourself about which method you can take as directed. I knew when I was a teen that there was no way the pill would be for me because I'd never be able to consistently take it on time. Instead I choose the patch and I was on it for almost 15 years and never had any issues.
