Am I crazy?

Question

So I have a 4.5 month old. Yesterday I adopted a kitten from the humane society. Am I nuts? Does anyone else have kittens or young cats with a baby?

Lucky! I have a 5 month old. My boyfriend wont let me get a kitten or a cat. He thinks I can't take care of both and says cats don't like babys! Lol

Well my kitten hopped the gate and explored the rest of the apartment lol at first he got into ALOT but now he's just jumping on tables and running around with his toys. He isn't sure of the baby though. When my son is flinging around his arms or a toy the kitten lunges at him. And attacks his feet when he's in the bouncer. Not good. Hopefully he will get used to the baby soon.

Take a  blanket or some clothes the baby has used/worn and put it with the cats in their bed. They can assilociate your babies smell to positive things. Also, handle the kittens a lot! This way when your baby grabs one they won't try to run in fear accidently scratch.

So cute though, it will be fun!!! You're doing a great thing!

My DD is four months and I have a four year old cat and just got a kitten (she's five months now) I think it all depends on the temperament of the cat to be honest. We specifically got the kitten for the baby though. We haven't had any problems and DD loves both cats
