how many weeks should u wait to shop for baby stuff?

First time mom.. and just wondering how long should u wait to buy diapers and other necessities?

When I found out I was pregnant I started buying pampers size 1 all the way up to 3 every week my boyfriend & I would buy a pack . At 11 weeks we found out the gender & started to but little outfits in different sizes to go with the seasons then we started to buy little books & toys & my parents also started to buy little stuff had my babyshower at 32 weeks got almost everything I asked for if I got double of something I would just return it for store credit that way whatever I needed that I didn't get I would buy with the store credit . But most definitely stock up on pampers once I turned 28 weeks I started to stick up on wipes . My LO is 5months & I have not bought a single diaper or wipes since he has been born & no where near buying any of that .

We only bought a few outfits before our baby shower. But regretted it because we didn't get much at the baby shower. Had our baby shower at 28 weeks. We've spent approximately $100 every week on needed things. Have almost everything. Still need a bumper, crib Mobil, and baby shoes.

My sister started at the beginning of her pregnancy so that she could spread the cost over the whole nine months and not all at once

30 wks. Start preparing so last month can be your time to relax cus u going to need alot of relaxing and sleep before baby comes
