Trouble with first response digital?

Im so annoyed this morning and slept awful cause my heart sank early in the morning! Ive had 3 positive pink dye cheap tests. This morning i used the first response digital pro, that way i could have a "yes" to show hubby. The test came back not pregnant ! I read somewhere to break the test open and actually read what the strip says and low and behold...two lines. Faint but definitely two lines.

Digitals need more HCG to show positive but if you break them open they always have 2 lines positive or not. I would just wait another day or 2 and do another digital.

Did you turn out pregnant !? Sorry I was googling and found your post!! I too had this happen to me today and I'm anxious as to if I should try a different test because I "know" I'm pregnant (as every ttc woman I'm going crazy )

Try a clear blue! I had a positive on my digital 5 days before my period was due with late afternoon pee. I'm now 12 weeks!  But keep in mind that if you break open the tests it ALWAYS has two or three lines so I wouldn't do that. Also it can void the results and show something that's false as well. The digitalis are notorious for coming up negative at first. I didn't have a positive digital until like a WEEK after my first positive. First Response pink dye and TBH, dollar store tests are the most accurate. You're most likely VERY pregnant but prob need to wait several more days for your digital positive. Don't worry.

(I looked back at my tests and I took a +FR -TOP- on 1/30 and didn't get a +dig -BOTTOM- until 2/3! Up to then they were completely negative!)

Baby is coming via c-section at 39.2 in a week, btw. Congrats!

The digitalis *dont* “have two lines, positive or not.” The only digitals that can be confusing inside are the ones that algo give you weeks. But the regular ones literally just have a standard pregnancy test inside. Source: I’ve been TTC for 4 years and pregnant 7 times and I’ve taken apart a million and seen them every which way.
