Hi ladies, wanted some advice. My husband and I were really hoping to be able to deliver in a birthing center with the midwife but our insurance does not cover it so we would have to pay about 8 to $9,000 out-of-pocket which is more than we can afford right now. We are going to have a hospital birth with an OB but are nervous that a natural birth will be pretty difficult with all the interventions that hospitals tend to push. Has anyone been able to have a natural childbirth without interventions and epidurals? If so, what was it like? Did you have a doula supporting you? Any advice?
