Inguinal hernia repair

I had my hernia repaired back in 08. I do not remember if it was a mesh or not because i was a minor. I brought it up to my ob at the begining of my 2nd trimester because he never asked me about it. All he said was well theres nothing i can do about it if the baby decides to push it out and then he walked away. I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow and lately the baby has been pushing on my hernia repair causing it hard to stand up straight without any pain. Idk what to do or say that would actually get my ob to pay attention or actually have some concern. Should i get a second opinion?
