Paranormal?

Question

Has anyone ever had a supernatural experience having to do with a deceased family member? Also, if you don't believe in that stuff is it purely coincidental?

Not a family member but had a (actually 2) wierd experiences at my parents house. I'm not 100% convinced of ghosts but these were just to reak to ignore. The first I was watching a movie with my downstairs and the lights were our in the rest of the house. My (ex) husband was upstairs watching hockey and putting our baby to bed. I saw a dark figure of medium size and build walk from the bottom of the stairs into the laundry room. I automatically assumed it was my husband going out for a cigarette because the garage is off the laundry room . But no lights came on. I didn't say anything but got to see what the heck he was doing. No one was there.  So I thought I must be crazy and sat back down to watch the movie.  My mom just turned to me and said "you saw it too, didn't you"

One night I had gotten up at 12am to go get some water. And my moms little rat dog was chilling in the living room staring at the ceiling. It creeped me out because she usually barks or tries to attack me. But I picked her up and put her back in my moms bed. Well a couple hours later I hear the dog get out of bed because her bells on her collor. I get up and she's in the same spot staring at the roof again. I stare at her for like 2 min and then she snaps out it and walks back to my moms room. The next morning my mom found out that her aunt had passed away in the middle of the night. I told my mom and she thinks she just wanted to say goodbye. 😳

My best friend passed away tragically while I was 5 months pregnant he lived downstairs and when the baby was born and able to follow things with his eyes I saw him following something so I snapped photos and also whenever he’s crying in his nursery his music comes on as to soothe him he was so excited for me to have this baby

Nope, our dead people stay dead. I think people see what they want to see with things like the paranormal. If science ever proves me wrong, I'll deal, but until then I'm going to roll my eyes at it. My husband is a believer though, so I do it when he's not looking. :)

Whoa the irony of your post. SO and I recently moved into my parent's basement due to some financial problems and at dinner we were talking about my great grandma being here. My mother has an old book shelf with glass doors and click shut. She has gone into the room it's located several times to find one door open. Each time she goes in there, it's the opposite door. She says she smells her on occasion too. So cool! I'm such a believer and have felt and heard spirits before. ☺️

About 8 years, my aunt passed away in a horrible firey car accident. Her children moved in with us right away until their father could come back (he was in the navy). About two days after her death, my cousin, mother and myself were all in the living room, and my cousin was getting a bit emotional. Suddenly, a wooden cat statue that sits next to our tv, far away from the edge of the entertainment center, flies through the air and lands right by my cousin.
The same cat statue also flew at me once right after I had crated our cat with kidney failure to be taken to the vet to be put down. The cat was wailing and  I was crying, and suddenly the cat statue comes flying. I can find no logical explanation for the event and have not been able to recreate the event. Our house was built in the 1800s and has a rich history.

so we moved 8months ago to an apartment and my boyfriend was working kids were sleeping i stayed up watching a show late at exacly 1:35am my blinds moved like something looked out the window or went threw them only 4 long blinds moved the rest untouched we dont have fans only a cooler that cools all the apartment but its not directed to that window there was no reason for it to move im not scared but i feel peace in this apartment real quiet or any heavy negativity I took this pic right after it hapened only 4 blinds moved right behind my lamp😮

My husband claims there has been something following him etc.
One night though, I was dead asleep on the couch when he came in around 12 and our youngest was awake in the hallway. Benji said Bryce was talking to someone? Idk. It was only me and our oldest who was asleep. But he said he told Bryce to go to bed and found him in his closet talking again. Benji told me to put an open bible and a cross in the closet so I humored him. Nothing ever came of it and it felt bizarre lol. I don't believe in spirits etc. Love watching paranormal movies though. It's funny seeing people get all weird.

The day my gram went into palliative care we were taking care of her house and stopped so my husband could cut grass. I took down the quilt I had hanging over the line. It was damp so I hung it in the house. I sat in the living room and read while he mowed. We stopped to drop off mail the next day and I froze when I saw a couch pillow laying in the doorway between the kitchen and the living room...at least 10 feet from where I had it on the couch the day before. I think it was pap telling me it was okay. She passed three days later. I had a class the next morning after and couldn't sleep, I was devastated. I was irritated because the cats arent allowed in our bedroom but one was walking across the foot of the bed. I tried to ignore it, hoping the cat would just lay down, and then I finally got annoyed enough I turned on the light to throw them out and there was no cat. It freaked me out but then I felt relaxed, turned off the light, and fell asleep. It didn't scare me at all. The next morning, I thought I dreamt it, but my husband told me he was getting annoyed with the cat walking on the bottom of the bed. I asked if he had seen the cat and he said he just felt it until I turned on the light. I'm convinced it was her way of saying goodbye. She would sit by my feet when I was younger and we would pray when I spent the night. I live in my grandparents house now and nothing else has happened.

However.  Do cats count as family members. Because my cat is definitely haunting me.
