throbbing vagina??

So I was having a lot of Braxton hicks last night... and when I'd get one my vagina was like throbbing. Also lots of pressure In my butt when I stand. I'm 39 +2  I go to the dr today. When they checked me 2 weeks ago cervix was still completely closed. Idk if they will check me today since I'm so close to end anyway.... anyone experienced this before labor starting??
