Should the Westboro Baptist Church be shut down?

Today, the WBC is going to picket at an Indiana campus called IUPUI. They are protesting a new LGBTQ center. They are known for picketing funerals of gays who were murdered, including soldiers and stomping on the flag. "God hates America" and "God hates fags" are a few signs they picket. We organized a counter protest on campus starting in a few days. This church is hateful and has hell of good lawyers but I don't understand how this remains legal. This is NOT free speech. With that said, do you think this organization needs to be shut down?
