HELP PLEASE ????

Question

Any moms get a vaginal tear during labor ? If so what did you do to take care of it ? I have a laceration on my Libia Minora (TMI, sorry), they didn't stitch it because they said its minor. Anyways while in the hospital I was fine, it burned when I peed but other than that I was okay. When I got home for some reason my skin attached to the pad it was VERY painful so I started to put Vaseline on the pad to prevent it from sticking. But I don't think it's making it any better. The burn is more intense now. Can someone please help me. I need relief.

I would keep witch hazel pads in the fridge and then later my pad with them each time I went to the bathroom/changed my pad. It helped heal faster and have relief. Also, the dermaplast helps.

With my last baby I had to be cut and I used badedas. It's a bubble bath. I got it from Amazon. My midwife swears by it and I know why because it's soothes and helps heal really quickly. I had a bath with that once a day and then used a hair dryer to dry my stitches after. The best way to get it to heal quickly and healthy is to air it out as much as you can and keep it dry. Xx

I had an episiodomy and was stitched with my first.. However, I used dermoplast every time I went, it's a spray that numbs the area and helps with the pain.. Also, look up padsicles! You take an overnight pad and add witch hazel, aloe Vera and lavender (optional) onto it.. freeze it and use that. The witch hazel will help you heal, and the aloe Vera will have a cooling effect that really helps!

I had an episiotomy during my first delivery and they gave me bactine spray which helped numb the area and i believe it also helps the area from getting infected. You can buy it at most grocery and drug stores.

I had a 4th degree tear with my first son. See the definition: 
"These severe tears are called third- or fourth-degreelacerations. A third-degree laceration is a tear in the vaginal tissue, perineal skin, and perineal muscles that extends into the anal sphincter (the muscle that surrounds your anus). A fourth-degree tear goes through the anal sphincter and the tissue underneath it." 
Hence me having a C-Section this time. 
With that said, witch hazel pads were lovely. But Dermoplast spray was genuinely my best friend. It's a numbing spray. Like I couldn't have enough Dermoplast spray cans in the house!!! I know they sent some home from the hospital with me but they also sell it at drug stores.
