Mucus plug question

Hi ladies I have a question for those ladies that have experience or better yet notice when they lost their mucus plug how.was it? I been having discharge with blood all day today but is not alot and I have cramps no contractions tho just keep going to pee every 5min but idk if it's the mucus plug or not
