Why do people still keep telling me I'm doing something wrong?

My daughter is over 2 months and still people keeping telling me to do things differently or not to do things I do with my daughter like the way I put her to bed seriously and whybis it when I say I know my daughter and know how to clam her down no one fucking listens wth????? I'm feeling soo annoyed 😒

Because everyone thinks they have an opinion on your parenting skills.
We deal with this with my step kids and they are 5,9, and 14. It doesn't end. Lol.

Everyone has an opinion and most people love to share it. You know your baby best. I always thank people for their advice and act gracious, but continue to do what I think is best.

As long as you're not doing anything dangerous like putting a blanket in with her or something like that idk why they would feel the need to say anything! That would bother the crap out of me

Only time I suggest to people to do it different is if they ask for help for some reason. But people think they need to add their 2 cents for some reason. My MIL is the same way so I'm dreading their visit when baby is born. She couldn't even let me train our puppy without telling me I was doing something wrong
