hospital classes?

Did any of you moms take birthing/breastfeeding classes? If so, was it worth it?

I took my birthing class at the hospital I'm delivering at and loved it! I haven't delivered yet, but it made me way more comfortable with everything. I have a stupid fear of hospitals so it really helped to know the procedures during birth, I got to see the labor and delivery rooms, I know my options and feel better prepared! I also know all of what my hospital offers after birth which is empowering. I'm waiting to do my breastfeeding class until after he is here... they have tons of LC's available at my hospital so they can be in the room as soon as I deliver to help get things started and then after birth if I have any issues once I'm home, they have a lactation room that is free of charge to use and get assistance 😊 my sister in law just delivered at the same hospital and chose not to take the classes and said she really regrets not doing them now. It doesn't hurt to have lots of info going in! Good luck!

I took a breastfeeding class and we loved it. It was so informative and made me relax more in regards to breastfeeding. They answered questions and were very supportive

The breastfeeding class was the best thing I ever did, it prepared me for the parts that would be difficult so I went into it knowing what it would be like and therefore didn't panic when the first few weeks were tough. I'm now still ebf at 6 months, all because of that class.

I took a breastfeeding class and really enjoyed the instructor. She was awesome.

I am a FTM and I have not taken a birthing class. I signed up for one through the hospital and they informed me later they were already full. There isn't another one until AFTER I'm due. Thanks guys. Haha.
