I have been itching for over a month. It has continiously gotten worse. I can't sleep anymore. I wake up three to four times a night. I have scabs all over my body. Head to toe. I am so incredibly miserable. My Doctor had me go get blood work twice now. Both times my bile acids were normal which is I guess the "definitive" diagnosis along side itching for Cholestasis. BUT my ALT liver enzyme has been high both times. So I have read it could still be Cholestasis. But my Doctor hasn't given me the green light to start the Ursidiol yet. I have my Glucose appointment tomorrow. I am counting the hours down so I can show her what I have been dealing with. I am extremely frustrated that we haven't came to a diagnosis yet. I need relief. I am so stressed and worried about my baby as well. None of this is good for either of us. Most of all it sucks because I am a FTM and I can't even enjoy my pregnancy. On the fence about having another babe. Has anyone dealt with this and been confused about which condition you had? Mom instict vs. tests? Anything will help. For now I just pray and scratch my poor skin :(
