For my girls with curly hair, how often and how long do you leave it flat ironed? What's your favorite curly hair style? (I'm not good with styles so I just leave it out)

I stopped flat ironing my hair and i only use products that don't have silicones and sulfates in them. I also only dry my hair with an old t shirt because towels cause frizz. And I only either finger comb or use a wide tooth comb in the shower with lots of conditioner to detangle. My fave products are Shea Moisture and Cantu. I've been watching tons of YouTube videos and one of my favorite curly hair gurus is CurlyPenny, you should check her out! I've been taking care of my curly hair for about 3 years now and it's never looked better! 🤓

I usually leave mine straight for 3 days at most. That depends on what I am doing those days though. Obviously if I'm all sweaty I wash it lol. I only straighten it once in a blue moon though 😊 the pic below is my natural hair

this year i only straightened my hair twice, homecoming and my birthday and i usually only leave it for 2-3 days because you'd have to constantly keep applying heat
