What are these pains?

Question

Sooo ladies, I'm 30 weeks today and since about 12:30pm I've been getting sharp pains in my cervix area. This is my second pregnancy and couldn't be any more different from my first, including a Low-lying placenta this time around so don't really know what to expect. Any ideas what these pain could be? They've been coming and going no matter is I'm sitting/laying or standing. Any advice would be great.

I'm pretty sure they're just normal pelvic pains. I had it with my first pregnancy toward the end and now I'm getting them again but a little earlier this time. It has something to do with your pelvic nerves and the baby getting bigger and pushing on them. They're painful but nothing you need to worry about. At soon as the baby comes out it should go away. :)

I had similar pains really bad one night. I went to the hospital and they told me that it was probably just normal pregnancy pains. But it was only the one night. I haven't experience anything else like that the whole pregnancy. It's been like 3 weeks since it happened. I know that's not an answer, but just wanted to let you know that you're not alone.

Braxton hicks? Or could be because this is your second baby your cervics are very soft?

I occasionally get these . The first time I got them they lasted a few hours so I assumed somthing was wrong and went to have a sono. The dr said it could be musle spams or the baby from being so low.

It's more of a long sharp stab than a thud type of feeling, if that makes any sense

My little guy is breeched and I was diagnosed with vasa previa. I definitely have what feels like him kicking my cervix every now and then. Is this what it could be? Or head butting if your little ones aren't breeched?

I've been getting the same! I think we're twins bc I also have a low placenta (has been going up was placenta previa before) and also 30w today!!

It's a different pain than before it literally feels like in my cervical opening
