Is it normal to have some brown spotting or brown tinged cm during early pregnancy?

My doctor said as long as it is not alot it's completely normal but I am still worried! It looked like there was a tiny bit of clotting and then brown tinged cm is this normal? Pls don't worry me I'm already super worried! Lol I'm 5 weeks 5 days today I have been having a whole bunch of other symptoms and positive pregnancy tests still so that's good I'm just worried! Pls help

I had brown spotting for the last week I am 7w5d. I talked to my doctor about it and hey said if it continues to call and I can get an earlier ultrasound but that it's most likely implantation. If it isn't red and if you're not cramping then you should be okay. If you are worried though call your doctor just be prepared that at 5 weeks you probably can go in for an ultrasound anyway and if you do there's a chance you won't see anything with it being so early. So if I was you I'd wait it out a little and see if it stops. Mine seems to have stopped today after a week of having it.

Any bleeding in pregnancy is not 'normal' but it is common and happens to a lot of people. If you feel like it's not right or if it doesn't stop make sure to follow up with your doctor. And resting and abstaining from sex is probably a good idea until it stops. Hope everything goes well for you!

I believe brown is normal. Red is not.
