Husband keeps asking

So my husband keeps asking me when I want to have a baby and I tell him I'm ready when he is. But then he says not right now? I don't understand does he want one or not? He says he does but he wants to wait a few months but then he asks me this while we are cuddling at night. I don't understand what he's trying to tell me. Baby or no baby?
