Anyone getting their membranes swept?

I'm 38.4 weeks pregnant and I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. I was thinking of asking her to sweep my membranes to possibly get things moving. It's my second child and I am concerned of going too much longer because I tore so bad with my first. Anyone else?

Had mine yesterday at 39+4 around noon and started contracting around 8:00pm! Currently chilling in the hospital in labor at 7-8 cm!

40 and 1 and had nine done yesterday and still no signs of labor!

I'm 37.6 today, my next appointment is Tuesday the 11th, I'll have a sweep that day, if the baby is back to head down. I hope I go into labor that day and hope to deliver the next day on the 12th. The 12th marks the one year of my father's passing. That will be special to me. Just another sign.

My doctor tried to do it yesterday, but I wasn't dilated at all :( I'm 39weeks

My dr did it for me cause I'm 4 cm and my cervix is very soft and thin but nothing has worked my babies being stubborn gonna get my induction date tomorrow 😊 & I'll be 39 weeks . But it doesn't hurt to try !

I'll be getting one Friday,one day shy of 41weeks.if baby isn't here by there,but I doubt he will be😢 ive had no signs of labor at all

Had the sweep yesterday at 39w4d, warned there would be contractions to follow.....Nothing.  I have cramping, which I had before, but that's about it....ugh, lol

I'm 39 today and have my 39 week appointment tomorrow, definitely asking for her to sweep mine if possible... I'm so done being pregnant.
