I had a appointment with the Dentist for the first time in six years. I had one cavity but I didn't want x-rays while pregnant and all my teeth hurt.

I had one appointment at 9am today after waiting so long now two dental clinics are booked until next year.

I am on the floor crying, all my teeth hurt.

I'm a single mom so I can't bring a 6month old baby with me I called my mom over to babysit she told me to go to sleep 8am and I didn't wake up until 10am she had to go back to work I'm sobbing. I hate crying in front of my baby but man.

My dad asked what's my problem, obviously you don't understand your teeth don't hurt and for my baby I decided not to get xrays(in the airport they don't let you go through the machine you have to go through metal detector so I figured it has to much xrays) I called they said it was fine but overprecaution.

What can I do?

They have a dentist appointment asap like immediately for pregnant women. I'm not pregnant but should I lie to get the appointment.

How do I explain this to my parents, my birthday is in a few days and this was my gift to myself getting my teeth fixed.

I'm just really upset, I waited a year and months for the appointment now this happens.
