Can Unisom/B6 combo cause diarrhea?

So I started having terrible nausea with vomiting at 6 weeks. Did not have any MS with my 1st pregnancy and barely any with my 2nd so this is a shock. Anyway, I started on the 100 mg B6 with 1/2 tab unisom twice daily OTC regimen. My nausea is a little less but now I have watery diarrhea everyday. Could this be from the meds? Just wondering if anyone else has experienced it. Doesn't seem like a common side effect from reviewing online. TIA!

I looked it up too and it says it's a rare side effect. But so is constipation. I have been taking 200mg B6 and 1/2 pill Unisom but my MS got really bad and my doc said to take the whole Unisom pill. It's only been two nights but the first I woke up with horrible diarrhea in the middle of the night and after the second I had it in the morning. I don't know if it's related or a coincidence.

Following.   I take unisom daily and have diarrhea daily.   Would LOVE to know if there is a cause other than hormones.   It's aweful.   I'd almost rather be constipated at this point!!!

I have the same problem with b6. Do you know how long does the diarrhea last? I stopped b6 3 days ago, but still have diarrhea.

it's the B6. I started taking it yesterday only by itself without the Unisom I haven't even bought it yet and immediately had a sour stomach. I took it this morning my stomach hurts so bad I literally haven't eaten all day and it's now 5 at night and I had diarrhea. I did a quick search on B6 side effects and while it does help with nausea for pregnancy at also can cause nausea, stomach upset, and loss of appetite. though it didn't say that on the bottle but I read online is it's recommended to take with some sort of food even with only a crust of bread.https://www.diagnose-me.com/treatment/vitamin-B6-pyridoxine.php

I'm 7 weeks and have been experiencing horrible naseau and exhaustion to the point  where I couldn't function. My doctor reccomended the unisom and b6 combo. 2 nights ago I tried it for the first time at night taking a 50mg unisom and 100mg b6. I woke up in the morning with diahrrea. I tried it again last night and woke up in the middle of the night with diahrrea! I'm afraid to keep taking it but it's the only thing that keeps me going through the day... not sure what to do.

I took that combo and didn't have anything like that. You should call your doctor and ask. But I'm sure that's just something you are experiencing on its own not related to the combo. Just drink lots of water!
