Can you wear tampons the first period after a miscarriage?

Just wondering what you other ladies think ! Is it safe to continue using tampons your first period after a miscarriage? I used pads during my miscarriage and had an ultrasound afterwards, everything ex spelled properly. I just really hate pads lol
