WTF are Period Panties?

I I have been seeing this video and other posts like it everywhere. 
Since I personally HATE pads and tampons I've been considering this. Has anyone tried them? Are the more expensive brand worth it? Are they okay to wear to bed?

Yes, I've used them for almost ten years. I use them in combination with tampons when my flow is on the heavier side. They are fantastic and were total life changers for me. I hated disposable pads when I used to use them.

So, yes they can absolutely be worn during sleep. They've been the best option for period sleeping I've found!

My periods have always been irregular and thus not reliably predictable. I'm not someone who can predict the exact day my period will show up. Period underwear has made that much less of a burden... I just wear a pair when I think it's possible for my period to start. I never have to worry about being caught without protection... Don't have to stain other underwear when it arrives unexpectedly... And if I was wrong, I just wash it and celebrate that I didn't have to wear uncomfortable liners or preemptive pads, and no money lost!

And by the way, they absolutely make up for their cost pretty quickly. I hardly buy any disposable menstrual gear, and plenty of people don't buy any. That stuff adds up and quickly becomes far more than you ever would spend on period undies.

Thinxx period pants are amazing!!!!! Yes they are fairly expensive but they are cheaper than sanitary products overall and the quality is super super good!

I've wanted to try them too but they are pricey and I would like to have 2-3 pairs but just the price of one is too much for me. I guess I will have to test them out someday when I save up. I heard about these undies probably a year ago and was so excited! A new option besides diva cups,  but ads,  and tampons! And it just seems comfier. I hope to buy some by next year lol
