Alternative for Glucose Test

I had a dr appt today and he advised me of the glucose test I need in 10 days. After doing my research, I decided I didn't want to drink the drink but wanted the test. He was very casual and understanding. He said for me to eat a normal breakfast (eggs, toast, whatever) then come in about an hour after and have them take a "fasting" blood test. The nurse wasn't fully aware of what he was asking but explained to her what we were doing. He advised me they will take 2 viles of blood (not sure if that's different from the original) and as long as I'm under 130, I'm good to go. 👍🏼
