sick and breastfeeding

Today I woke up sick with what feels like a cold and am running a 101.8 fever. My mom has offered to take my 4 month old and let me rest, but I really don't know which is best. Do I stay around him and feed him and risk him getting it by contact, or do I send him to grandma's with frozen milk? I've heard the answer is the former but it really makes me nervous. What should I do?
