Please someone answer this

Hi , this is something I would like to ask to a friend or family member about but I can't really do that so I figured here would be a good place to ask. I'm keeping it anonymous for myself. So my boyfriend and I, I guess you could say tried having sex for the first time and it did hurt more than others at times .I was okay with that knowing the first time won't be the best expirence ever. I'm just wondering if the next day or two I could be sore, I've heard that that can happen. If so is there anything I can do about it to reduce pain or help it go away. An answer would be most appreciated. Thank you.
