appointment after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage about a week after I found out I was pregnant. It crushed me but I know things happen for a reason & God is always in control so I'm just patiently waiting to try again. I have an appointment with my gynecologist on Wednesday and I'm just curious as to what they may be doing. I bled for a week and now it's going away so I'm guessing the miscarriage happened naturally. Do you guys have an idea of what they may do ? Also for those who have suffered a miscarriage, how long after did you get pregnant again ?
