Cracked Nipples Say 4

Hey everyone. The other day I noticed that my right nipple had cracked and was an open wound all around the nipple. So I put Neosporin on it and tried to just not let anything rub against it. I noticed every time I showered or changed the scab around the area would open up so I started putting a bandaid over it to try to reduce the scabs coming off. It's day 4 now and the wound is still the same, my nipple now is an off darker color and there's brown spots all around my nipple. Starting to get a little nervous of infection even though I clean it a couple times a day and have been using big bandaids to cover it. I could really use some advice!!!
