measuring ahead?

I had my last two week routine check up today and my doctor has me coming back in a week for a growth ultrasound because he's measuring 3-4 weeks ahead. Just wondering if any other mommies have the same thing going on?

I'm a FTM so I'm not really sure what to expect I'm supposed to be due November 8th

I have growth scan next week because we are measuring 3-4 weeks ahead as well. The topic of csection has come up already.

I always measured 4-5 weeks ahead  with my first. Unfortunately, it definitely doesn't mean that they will be born early. I didn't have GD, but I did end up with preeclampsia. I had a lot of fluid and a 9 lb baby girl, but don't stress if the ultrasound claims your baby is really heavy, they were guessing my daughter would be a 10-12lb baby and I was terrified. They may induce you around 39 weeks if they do think he/she is going to be large. Right before I gave birth at 39 weeks 5 days I was measuring 45 weeks haha

I've been measuring a week or two ahead since my first ultrasound, now  at 34 weeks I'm measuring at 38. Growth scan scheduled for Wednesday. My doctor has already mentioned a c-section and inducing me early 🙄 I'm not worried, I'm not afraid of birthing a big baby, but my poor husband is soooo nervous.

My baby has been measuring "on the big side" for the last couple of visits. Doctor says she is planning to do a growth scan in a couple weeks "just to see what we are getting ourselves into." No mention of c-section or induction... she said it could just be a growth spurt and that it could all level out in the next week or two. So I'm not stressing yet.

Me, too!   I go back this week to do a growth scan.   Dr doesn't seemed worried, but it definitely made me start getting serious about the nursery (that wasn't done!) and getting ready for whatever may happen soon!

At 32 weeks I measured 35.  At 33 I messured 33. My obgyn isn't to worried.

Yes I'm 32 weeks 5 days and I'm measuring 38'weeks I go back next week for a growth ultrasound. I'm not sure why I'm measuring ahead I never had this problem with my first son.

I've been measuring consistently a week or two ahead and midwife just says baby might be bigger than my others...  At 30 weeks, I measured 33/34 but at 33 weeks, I measured 33 so she thinks baby was just laying oddly.

My belly only a week ahead but baby is 3.5 weeks head. 
Am 36 now and baby is showing 39-40 weeks and is ready to be born. 
At 33 weeks he was over 37 weeks and they said he lungs looked amazing and they told me he could be born at 33 weeks and need no help he be perfectly fine. 
 He will be my second smallest. As they they he barely 8.5-9lb max  but super long. My last I never once messured ahead and he was 9lb 3 weeks early. 
 I don't understand why women are worried about size never once did it scare my to have a 9-10lb baby. And am not even 5'3 lol
