Ah! I'm confused and need help please

I just had sex with my boyfriend (we have tried before but he's big so we never really went farther than four inches in, but I thought he had already broken my hymen) and I went to the bathroom after and there's a lot of blood on my underwear! Is this normal? Please respond ASAP bc I'm a worrier and I want to make sure nothing is wrong.
