Im so confused!!! 😐

Ladies I need help. I'm 25 and I just started taking birth control. I originally was suppose to start my period last saturday/Sunday...However my doctor told me to take it Sunday no matter what. My period never did come and still hasn't. And I have now been taking it for a week....will I get my period?... Or will taking the birth control make me miss it until the week of the "period pill'? Lol please help I'm freaking out.
