tampons stop cramps?

Does anyone else find that if you can feel cramps coming on, putting in a tampon stops or at least makes them less painful? Or is it just me?

I cramped way worse using tampons. I use the diva cup now and have little to no cramps. It's a great feeling! No more doubling over in pain throughout the day for me.

Nope. Not for me.  Tampons tend to make them worse for me, because I have such bad clots, that it's painful and I cramp when passing them, and tampons don't allow them to pass.  Typically when that happens I have to remove the tampon.
