Is it possible to just be friends with guys?

All my friends are guys and a vast majority are frat brothers, but like not Neighbors Zach Efron bros more like Revenge of the Nerds Bros. I'm an engineer and being an engineer means I don't meet a lot of girls which is why most of my guy friends are also engineers. Today it was me and like 7 guys and we all went back to the frat house and watched UFC fighting until like 1am and we jammed out to Kanye and it was just really fun being one of the guys. So do you think it's possible for girls and guys to just be friends or is there always a sexual undertone?

Definitely. Sometimes you just don't feel that way towards a person, regardless of how much time you spend together.

I have 3 brothers, so I just generally get along better with men.

There is nothing wrong with that.

So long as your friends respect you, care about you, and aren't in any way toxic, then you have good friends regardless of gender.

It is possible. It completely depends on the people though, and then there is what society as a whole teaches that men and women can't be friends because someone will want to have sex with the other.

I have a lot of male friends. Every time someone sees me with one that knows my SO as well, I get called a whore and that I should be ashamed I am cheating. I tell them to call my SO, they do and then feel really stupid after.

Most of my friends are guys. I work in a "guys field" and there are only a few women i work with.  I think it's absolutely fine to have friends of the opposite sex

U may not care for them but they may care for you. Guys get way to caught up in their feelings while women can just be friends.

But maybe men can't? It seems like my bf got with all his female friends growing up/ hanging out to some degree (from kissing/ boob play etc), and my male friends wanted more & several tried.

It depends. When I was younger, I always felt like guys who tried to be friends with me had ulterior motives and I'm not wrong about most of them. Being friends with a group of guys is fine on the other hand. It's the individual friendships that creep me out 👀
