depo shot causing cramps everyday
So I had my first depo injection on Sept 6th of this year. Ever since then I have had cramps everyday. They are not consistent throughout the day, more of like a random pinch in my lower stomach. It feels like someone is stabbing a knife in, then it goes away. And it happens randomly. Is this normal? Anyone else experience this? I was also suppose to start my period on Oct 6th, and it didn't come. I know that depo can stop your periods but I thought it was after a few injections?
Side note: I read online that the depo is effective immediately if you get your injection within the first five days of starting your period, which I did. So my boyfriend and I have been having "unprotected" sex and he hasn't been pulling out either.
If anyone can give me some insight or some advice I would appreciate it!!
Also, I'm 19 years old, I'm not a minor. Lol. Just thought I would throw that out there cause some people like to lose their shit over young kids having sex.
