Adopting from foster care
Has anyone adopted from foster care before and would like to share their experience? My husband and I are currently fostering a family members child. Our goal was just changed to adoption. Trying to get some information on timeline from here on out.. What do we need to expect?

The child has been in state custody for a little over a year
Our goal was just changed to adoption at the one year hearing
The child is a toddler
The bio parents have done 0% of their case plan, but seem to want to step up now that the goal has changed.
