My son is 1 week old but he moves like crazy. To the point where my dad was even going to drop him a few days ago because he kept throwing his head back and forward. We came today to bring him to my in laws so they can see him and my mil decided it was a good idea to give my son to my 8 year old sil in the kitchen and let her walk with him to the living room while he's side awake and moving. I saw her and right away got up got my son and told her she wasn't allowed to carry my son unless she's sitting down and an adult is around just like the other kids. My mil bil AND fil got so butt hurt they told me nothing was going to happen and I was overreacting. I got mad because my husband didn't speak up so I got our stuff ready and told my husband I was ready to come home now they're calling him telling him next time he takes my son he's taking him without me which I told him is absolutely not happening. Did I overreact or am I in the right to protect my son from situations like this? I tried my very best to take care of myself while pregnant so he was ok and had a very rough labor that ended up in a csection and have been trying to be a good mother since the minute he was born so that they can hand him to a child risking her dropping him and something really bad happening😞
