PLEASE take it easy ladies!!

Like many of us, I've been told and told and told again to "walk, walk, walk". Everyone in their mother seems to believe that a brisk walk no matter how wiped we are will bring us our babies. Ladies, please, if your feet are hurting, or you really aren't feeling up to the task, don't push yourself! At 39 weeks I decided to go to the grocery store for an hour to just keep on walking. My feet had been hurting and I was absolutely wiped. My feet just got worse and worse at the store until I finally called my husband to help me finish the grocery shopping. After putting my feet up for an hour and then trying to stand I realized I couldn't. Days later and I was limping so bad I could barely walk to the bathroom or stand in the shower. Turns out that with that extra 30lbs weighing down on my feet I developed tarsal tunnel syndrome (pressed nerves). I'm now over due with my baby and have been unable to walk anywhere. Miserable feeling. The worst part is I'm still getting texts from people about "is baby here yet? Try walking!" If you ladies are feeling great, then absolutely go for a walk and keep it up! All I'm saying is that to all you ladies out there who's feet are swollen and hurting or are absolutely wipe, please don't push yourself. Rest up! Try a yoga ball instead. I just don't want to see this happen to anyone else! Much love ❤️
