Just wanted to share with anyone that's struggling with cracked/bleeding/painful nipples: silverettes saved my life. My little guy was born with a tongue tie which we had snipped at 3 days old. Unfortunately he inflicted some pretty serious damage to my nipples before we fixed that and I was in tears at every feeding session. A huge/deep fissure to my left nipple and several blisters/cracks to both. A friend recommended silverettes-they're a bit costly at over $60 (I purchased mine on Amazon) but I noticed healing within hours and within three days i had no pain at all-totally healed.
