Best formula ?

Question

FTM and am planning/ hoping to breastfeed. However I'm nervous that I won't be able to produce enough and may need to supplement. All of my friend have been able to EBF. So I have so many questions about formula. What do you guys recommend ? Has anyone done both and if so any tips?

It's expensive but I feed my baby Enfamil Enspire. I've tried similac sensitive which caused constipation, Enfamil gentle ease also caused constipation, Enfamil for supplementing also constipated, Enfamil premium and Enfamil newborn both made him spit up a ton especially the newborn which was the worst. Seems like all the gentle brands cause constipation idk why but with Enspire, it has been the only one that's made him regular and never spits up. He loves it and I love it. Just the price sucks at $40 a container. We use all the coupons we can find for it. You could also try similac total comfort which I never tried...it had good reviews...I just like the Enspire for the breast milk components😊

I breast and formula fed. We went through several kinds before my daughter decided on similac sensitive. Most brands will send samples just go to the website and sign up for emails and find out how to get samples. We needed formula on short notice so having the samples was great!

They're all basically the same. Corn syrup and cow protein. But I wouldn't worry about it. You'll be able to nurse. Very few people can't. Don't worry about buying formula now. Your baby may hate some of them arbitrarily anyway. It's not like you're baby is going to starve. They only need a few drops of food over the first three days - they're born topped up with nutrients because they're designed with the fact that it takes several days for your milk to com in in mind.
