first month charting. am I on the right track?

First month charting and fourth month TTC. I've been orally temping around the same time every morning. My temp is rising the last couple of days, but this morning I'm experiencing some dark spotting. Something I have not experienced this early before. It's probably too soon for implantation bleeding and there was no dip, but it's way to soon for AF and wouldn't my temperature go down? I guess I need to see what the next few days look like right? Just want to make sure I'm on the right track with tracking and reading the chart.
