how often to pump?

I am 5 days pp and supposed to go back to work in 6 weeks. I want to be sure I have enough breast milk for her so how often should I pump?

If I were you I would start pumping two weeks before you go back. And start giving her bottles. And pump after every time she nurses!! Bc she may not get all of it!! And even if she does get all of it and your pumping air do it for about 5 minutes!

You shouldn't pump for a few weeks and even then you only need as many ounces as your baby will eat the first day while you are gone.
