Lasted 4 weeks. I wasn't ready but was scared for my significant other to cheat. It wasn't absolutely horrible but it was very uncomfortable and I just wanted it to be over with. I didn't want it until about 6/8 weeks post partum and that's when it became more and more pleasurable.

It's been 3 weeks since we had our baby, and I have wanted to get back into it since the 1.5 week mark. I'm still bleeding anyway so I'll just have to wait, but I don't think my partner is interested at all anyway. Makes me feel disgusting that I said "I can't wait to have sex again" and he literally just rolled over and went to sleep.

I don't know why everyone is so stuck on "6 weeks", but it's not a magic number. If your doc says 6 weeks, then sure, go with it. My doc does postpartum checkups at 4 weeks, not 6. I was cleared at 4 both times I had kids and had sex that night.

No. We made it to 4 weeks, at least. It didn't hurt that bad. Hurts worse now actually due to dryness

We tried for the first time after i had my pp check at 6 weeks when the doctor gave ok but it hurt so bad each time that we didn't successfully have sex until 3.5 months pp
