returning to work???

Question

Any new moms going back to work soon? My baby is approaching 3 months and I'll be returning back to work in 2 weeks. I'm so sad. 
I wish I could stay with her for a few more months.  I feel like I will be missing out.  I know staying at home is full time job as well but I   keep comparing my situation to those who do not work and are able to be with their babies.
It gives me so much anxiety.

I was supposed to go back 2 weeks ago but I just couldn't leave my little one. I resigned and am not a stay at home mom. Didn't think I was ready to give up my career as a nurse but now I'm so happy I did.

I went back last week and it's still hard. It was helpful for me to do a practice run with daycare. We left her in the morning like we normally would, but a few days before I went back to work. That meant I could get a lot of the emotion out - I came home and cried in the bathtub for about 2 hours. I didn't let her go all day, but it was good for both of us to start to get used to a different routine. When I went back for real it was still difficult, but I wasn't sitting at my desk sobbing. Also being back for real wasn't quite as bad because I was busy. So keep yourself occupied and know that a lot of people go through this and we survive! It will be sad and terrible but you can do it. And, in the long run, it's really healthy for kids to have a mom who works (they've done studies about how it affects empathy and self esteem) so you're actually helping your LO!

I feel like a bad mom for saying it but I wish I could go back sooner.   I love my kids but I'm a better mom when I'm working.  In Canada I have a year off and it's going to feel like a long year.   I'm also suffering from post partum anxiety which I know is also what's making me think this way

I resigned after one day back, I thought I was the only one lol!! We are already struggling financially but I couldn't do it.. I cried the whole day back. I'm so happy with my decision, I love every moment of being home.

I went back to work part-time when my baby girl was 4 weeks old and full-time when she was 7 weeks old... BUT I work from home, and my husband has an irregular work schedule, so he's home during the day sometimes too... funny thing is that things are actually easier when hubby is working, cause baby girl and I have a routine that works well, and when hubby helps, our routine is all messed up and then we have an over tired cranky girl on our hands... She's 10.5 weeks old now.

I go back to work next week. I'm also really sad and want to stay home longer. I work 12 hour shifts and don't know how I'll do it. Every other day or so I even think about quitting ... but I'm not sure we can survive on one paycheck.

I'm going back in a week and a half LO is almost 12 weeks. I do the same with comparing us to those who can stay home and I could if it wasn't for health insurance, it sucks through my husbands job. I'm not having another until I don't HAVE to work. At the same time I'm ready to go back so we have spending money again and not just living money.

I go back in two weeks also, and my daughter is almost three months...
I seriously just had a good cry over having to leave her for four days a week.
Gah, I'm so scared, I don't want her to be without her mommy! She also isn't taking a bottle so that adds a whole other level of stress to the situation. :(
