My fiancé and I have been recently talking about wanting to get pregnant. We're both 100% ready in every way other than one thing. I don't work because I take care of things around the house and my fiancé makes enough to support both of us. He makes $16.60 an hour, which wouldn't be a lot except we don't pay any bills. we live in a cabin that my parents own. it's about an acre away from my parents house so they pay the utility bills for us. The only thing we have to buy is food. What do you guys think? Can we afford it? My parents are encouraging it (they have grandbaby fever just as badly as I have baby fever) and they said they'll help, but I really don't want to have to ask them for anything considering we live on their property rent and bills free.
