Abnormal pap

Hi ladies. I was just informed by my gynocologist that my annual Pap smear came back as abnormal and I also tested positive for HPV. Apparently they don't test for it until you're in your 30s. She believes that although I've never had an abnormal pap before, it's been dormant in my system and my last pregnancy may have brought it out. I'm scheduled to have a colposcopy but not until December 16th! I know this is extremely common, but I am extremely nervous it's going to come back as something more. My husband and I are looking to start trying for baby #3 in January, so my biggest fear is that this will affect that. Anyone have any positive/negative experiences or advice as to what I can expect moving forward? Thank you in advance!
