Anxiety/Panic Attacks
So yesterday I had my first panic attack. I've seen it happen on someone and I know what it is considering my best friend has it and gets them pretty much every now and then and usually I'm the one who calms her down. But when I had one. Well first my mother walked in my room while I was about to have one. I was already crying and all she asked is why I was crying and I told her anxiety and stress over school, work, and relationship. All she said was don't worry too much and left the room so I got up called my boyfriend and that's when it happened. I was explaining to him what was going on then I started hyperventilating, I couldn't speak whatsoever. I felt like I was losing my mind. I had to grab my bed and nothing really helped then both my arms went numb and I got dizzy but my bf calmed me down soon enough. Apparently my best friend who has them told me that when that happens a person is on the verge of passing out. I didn't know how to deal with it at all. And most of the time I'd be having anxiety, at school, work, home, anywhere honestly. It's affecting me really bad and I need some really good advice on what I can do. I've looked up ways to stop anxiety and how to control the panic attacks but I'd like to hear from some of you that has it and happens to them often. Thank you!!
