Painful skin!

The skin on the top part of my belly (right at and under my bra line) has been burning so bad these past few days. Sometimes, it actually goes numb and it's like all sensation is gone except the burning. I talked to my doctor and he said it's just nerve pain from stretching and ligaments tearing. Has anyone else had this issue? Any remedies? I'm 30+1 and it just keeps getting worse!!!
