So, I am still in absolute shock as I sit here in the hospital with my perfect newborn latched to my breast... Yesterday I was 41+4, scheduled to be induced with Pitocin on Thursday. I had been having Braxton Hicks for over 2 months but they seemed a little more regular that morning. Around 1pm, my husband and I took our daughter to the park, then I took a shower when we got back. By 3 I began having stronger consistent contractions every 3-5 minutes. About 30 minutes later I felt the urge to push! The contractions were super intense, wave on top of wave and I couldn't move as there was no break between them!
